I have had type 1 diabetic for over 48 years... when i turned 53 by bg roller coasted... so i went on the medtronic pump.... i have had problems with infusions sets... i am on the thin side so finally i found the right infusions set silhouette.... the only problem i have is some times i get air bubbles in the res.. or tubbing... i have tried everything... i am thinking of going on the omni pod... but am not sure..
How did you find the Diabetic Angels? What were you searching for?

Getting the air bubbles out of the res are key. I'm glad that it's better for you. The PINK Pump is out. Go to minimed.com to check it out. I would call Medtronic. It'll cost you 300.00 bucks but hey its Pink! I know that you wanted one.

Really Look into the Pod. Insulet just took out another loan to cover expenses. They don't have the infrastructure to manage everything that comes along with taking care of patients. As you know the Cozmo pump just went bye bye and that has left 26,000 pumpers wondering what next. Medtronic has a patch coming and I have seen it!!! All I can say is SWEEEEEET!

I would have to disagree about the Dexcom. Though it's great for continuous monitoring it still falls short when compared to Medtronic CGM in clinical trials. There was a trial called STAR 1 that kicked Dexcoms butt. I agree that it's important that people find what works for them and that they use the device to keep healthy. I do know a few folks that have Medtronic pumps and Dexcom systems. Not many but a few.
