Truth is both my grandparents on my father's side died due to diabetes. My grandmother on my mother's side also has diabetes and is still alive, I'm so thankful. When my grandpa was diagnosed with diabetes I felt hurt. When he started having a bunch of complications that's when I started being his sort of care-giver. I love him so much and eventhough its already been 6months since he died I still can't take it, you know. A lot has happened he was is real pain and I just don't want to see anyone else go through with that ever again. I have this mission in life to actually help cure diabetes. I am beginning my studies with this disease. I am determined to help out. After college when I go back to California I want to further my research there. I really want to help. I want my grandma to get better and there is this guy I really care about. I know how hurt he is....he too has diabetes...I just really want to get rid of diabetes because it hurts many people. I promise to help find its cure, whatever it takes. After 3 years, I'll be back and will make that difference. Thanks
