Thanks for your concern. I was quite down this time and had to rest for a while, because my blood pressure was high and this got me worried. I thank God that i am better now though and recovering. I have fast started putting things in place to start work on the project. I just wanted to ask a few questions such as what Basal means i see a lot of people talking about their basal on line. Also wish to find out how the CGM works. We dont have such technology for diabetics here in Nigeria but these are some of the things i hope to change in the nearest future. Thanks and hope to get a reply from you soon. I hope to start my blog very soon too.

No problem. I'm a native of LV and plan on being here for awhile. When I joined Medtronic I told myself that I would get involved in the diabetic community not just to promote Medtronic but to really help.

Jackie, The camp you are talking about is in our plan though I am not sure when. I truely understand what you are saying. We really want to work with 19-25 year olds also. Our first goal is to make this camp right for kids and then if funding is coming in move forward. Thanks for everything you do and good luck!

Hi Jackie, i haven't been active here for a while now. I was very ill and was down for about three weeks. I had resistant malaria, and my sugar was all over the place and very high. I am a bit better now and have started work on the DA chapter here in Nigeria. Will keep in touch.

i have been to your daughters websites and it helps alot...i have to go somewhere positive everyday just to get through the day...and mollie and jackie are usually the ones who help...it doesnt matter if i reread the same thing :-) its just nice to see them smiling and happy
there are so many questions i dont know where to start or where to go for help...hopefully the days will get better, i just had a baby on the 11th and i feel like i have been neglecting elizabeth but she is probably enjoying it LOL first question "how long does it take to get to a 'new' normal?"
