Welcome to one of our favorite pages, the one that lets us talk about the importance of giving. Since we were six years old we have been actively involved in a variety of charities, but to a great extent, our effort has been directed towards raising funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRFI) and to date, we have raised over $500,000 dollars for medical research. And for the 2007 Walk to Cure Diabetes, our team, Mollie's Mafia, raised $10,718! We know first hand how devastating this disease is and are committed to doing our part to help find the cure. For this reason, we will spend the next three months raising funds for diabetes research, with the hope that a cure will be found before one more child is sentenced to a life of finger pokes, syringes, diabetic complications, or worse.
We can't do this along. We truly need your help, and today you have the opportunity to Make A Difference in the lives of 20.8 million Americans, who like Mollie, struggle with unimaginable challenges each and every day.

JDRF was founded in 1970 by the parents of children with juvenile diabetes -- a disease that strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin dependent for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. Since inception, JDRF has provided more than $600 million to diabetes research worldwide. In a typical year, 85 percent of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and education about research. JDRF’s mission is constant: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
